Hi!

And so nice that you have clicked your way to this page and showed curiosity about us and our music! Sometimes after we have played concerts we get the question: “how much does it cost to book a Indigorado concert?” The answer is pretty much: “how long is a rope?” The aim of this document is to create a map and set a level of expectations.

We know the challenges of organizing concerts and small festivals and one important part of the preparations is having the budget in order. Let’s help you do a preliminary calculation for your budget, but bear in mind that the figures can change and are not written in stone, so please contact us for exact numbers. Besides, the cost depends on a number of factors, including what you want from us (duo act or up to full band).

Indigorado as duo act:

We live in Leksand, Sweden. So unless we are on a tour (passing by your region) the travel cost will be to the gig and back home for us. If we use our own car, calculate 5 SEK/km. Road tolls will come in addition to that. For any travels longer than 2 hours (one way) from Leksand, we will most likely want to have accomodation arranged for us (guest room is fine, otherwise buy-out 1200-1600 SEK or whatever the hotel rates are in the area).

On top of this, the fee for a concert (typically 45-60 min) is 10 000 SEK (5 000 SEK/person).

If we shall bring our own PA (suitable for 100 people): 600 SEK.

Between the soundcheck and the concert we’d like to have a warm prepared meal with healthy and tasty food (if food is not included: buy-out 400 SEK/person). If we stay overnight, we welcome a breakfast as well.

Indigorado with additional co-musicians

We can perform as a trio, quartet or full band (6 people in total).

The trio and quartet format will most likely be with violin, keyboard or an extra guitarist. The full band format will be complemented with a bassist and a drummer. Contact us to get details about fee, travel costs and accomodation for the extra musicians.

AND WHAT ABOUT THE TIMELINE ON THE DAY OF THE CONCERT?

Let's start by deciding what time the concert shall start, and then we can count backwards from there. If the concert starts at 19:00, doors typically open 18:00 (or 18:30). Between 17-18 we'd like to sit down and eat and relax (preferably in a quiet, secluded room). Soundcheck between 16-17. Get-in at 15 (when we load in our instruments and equipment).

Played up in chronological order, we get: 15:00 Get-in, 16:00-17:00 Soundcheck, 17:00-18:00 dinner, 18:00 doors open, 19:00-20:00 concert. Times can vary, but you can view this as a rule of thumbs.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us!
